SALT IN THE SPINE:

Some families are inherited. Some are chosen. And some are just surviving you.
Kaia and Leti have buried enough people. After their father’s death leaves them with a house they can’t keep, a few thousand dollars, and no real reason to stay in Washington, the sisters head south with no plan beyond movement. California is supposed to be temporary; a place to disappear for a while, outrun the ghosts, and figure out what comes next. Instead, they find themselves pulled into the orbit of a fractured Bay Area family held together by childhood loyalty, old grief, and the memory of a boy none of them learned how to lose.
Leti finds an unexpected refuge in Cachí, an artist carrying more guilt than he knows what to do with. Kaia finds something far more dangerous in Kayden: a man his family still remembers loving, even as they begin to fear what he has become.
As old loyalties collide with new attachments, the line between protecting someone and enabling them begins to disappear. And when violence finally forces everyone to choose a side, survival may demand more than walking away.

A dark literary crime novel about sisterhood, found family, vengeance, and the ghosts we carry long after the people themselves are gone.

SITS is currently live and available in paperback, hard cover, or Kindle.

DOMINION DUOLOGY, Under Glass:

Set after a devastating war between witches and the Alieni, the story follows an uneasy truce–and truth.  Hila has lived her entire life inside a place called the Dollhouse—safe, orderly, and wrong in ways she can’t name. A place where people disappear; where the moon never rises; and where she sometimes hears a voice other than her own whispering, “Burn it down.” And when the Dollhouse collapses in fire and blood, Hila learns the truth; not only who she is, but what.

Hunted by beings immune to magic, claimed by witches who see her as a vessel, and bound to a spirit named Kali with her own unfinished story, Hila is forced into a world that wants to decide which half of her deserves to live.

What follows is not a quest for power, but a history that refuses to stay buried; a love that justifies cruelty; and the unbearable question of whether two souls can survive one body.

The Dominion Duology is still in early development with no known release date.

DOMINION DUOLOGY, Under Fire:

War did not end; it waited.

In the aftermath of the Dollhouse, the fragile truce between witches and Alieni fractures under the weight of unfinished history. Councils convene, lovers turn into liabilities, and old loyalties begin to look like weaknesses as retaliation ignites the Alieni, and retribution the witches. And Hila, Kali — caught between the living and the remembered — become the axis upon which everything turns.

Following Under Glass, structures fall, innocence burns, and a message stands in the wreckage: if Hila does not claim her power, someone else will. Because dominion is never given freely, but carved out of what remains.
